Thomas Waldrom, the Exeter try-scorer, has been in high praise of his Chiefs teammates after smashed down Harlequins in the prestigious Aviva Premiership.

Waldrom helped his team with a good 19-6 lead during interval. The visitor team cut down the deficit score to 6 points in the early half of the 2^nd phase as winger Tikirotuma (Asaeli) went for converted try. Exeter boys responded really well- even with Nowell (Jack) in sin bin, slipper Yeandle (Jack) crashed over & then centre Slade (Henry) finished off the break to swing the home team to their 2^nd league triumph at home this year.

What pleased Waldrom the most was the very valor by which the Exeter boys reacted when Harlequins seemed progressive in 2^nd half.”We did drop off 2 tackles but then the great work that we do for covering one another’s back shows”, noted the Exeter try-scorer.

“Listening to Robs (coaches Hunter & Baxter) & Ali, everybody is actually working for one another- that is something that can’t be taught & that is really pleasing. The boys scored just when we needed to bounce back in the match & I felt that we came up with a great performance. We controlled the field position & got whatever we were looking for in the end.”

“We have been working really hard for last 4 weeks. We were really close against the Tigers, we’re close to Gloucester & it was a fantastic performance today. Now, we need to proceed with this confidence further.”

Exeter got back to 4^th position in Premiership with its latest win against Harlequins. With 3 triumphs out of 4 this term, the Chiefs are surely looking forward to gather another win against Newcastle soon.

The national team of Argentina Rugby nicknamed Los Pumas is organized by the Union Argentina de Rugby. It is currently ranked twelfth in the world by IRB making them the highest ranked team in the Americas. Over the years the sport has gained popularity in the football crazy nation owing to their impressive performances in the Rugby World Cup. The present head coach of the team, Daniel Hourcade, who has had previous experience in Argentina Jaguars and Pampas XV has promised some impressive results from his team in the upcoming fixtures of the Rugby Championship 2014. Their campaign kicks off in South Africa with the match against the Boks on August 16^th. The Argentina Rugby side will be lead by Agustin Creevy along with former captains like Juan Fernandez Lobbe and Juan Manuel Leguizamon. The defense of the team looks quite strong with the likes of experienced and talented players like Juan Imhoff, Marcelo Bosch and Juan Martin Hernandez. The star forward Marcos Ayerza is also tipped to make his country proud.

However the team has received a major setback due to the injury of their star performer Juan Imhoff. The Racing Metro speedster suffered an injury to the second metatarsal of his right foot during their warm up match against Top 14 outfit Grenoble. The French side put up a strong performance against the International side. Argentine coach Hourcade has called up Duendes centre Jeronimo de la Fuente as a replacement for Juan Imhoff, although Imhoff is expected to join his team later in the season. Argentina Rugby has been on the resurgence since the 2007 season although their last campaign was not so impressive owing to the losses against England and Wales. Yet the fans are expected be out in huge numbers and voicing their support for the team composed of youth and experience.

The Exeter Chiefs grabbed the eighth place in the Rugby Premiership Table during the last season and failed to make an impression on the supporters. However their skills’ coach Ricky Pellow was happy with the spirited performance his young side had shown in the final games. The campaign of the Chiefs in the next season shall be aided to a great extent due to eight important signings by the head coach Rob Baxter. The most notable among these is surely the one including the Namibian superstar Chrysander Botha. The speedster is ready for his new adventure in Europe after his successful stint with the South African Super Rugby giants the Lions. Botha himself is optimistic about his much talked about transfer to the Chiefs and is confident of success. The coaching staffs have welcomed the star into their ranks as they believe it would surely strengthen their line up in the upcoming season. The Chiefs are gearing up for their friendly matches ahead of the actual fixtures in the 2014-15 seasons. The likes of Sam Simmonds, Max Bodily and Tom Hendricksen have been lauded for putting up some great performances in the last season. They are fit to provide the necessary ammunitions required for the side looking forward to a top four finish that would help them get into the knock out part of the Premiership. The Exeter fans have pinned their hopes on the big names as well as the youngsters who they believe are going to come of their age in the next year. The authorities are also paying a lot of attention to their residential camp at Marjons that have been set up especially to lure the young talent in the West Devon and East Cornwall area. Exeter Chiefs can be serious contenders if all the plans fall into place.
