To be fair i do understand the whole anthem/capital/language thing. But theres no point being xenophobic towards us because its not our fault that 500 years ago people that lived in the same country as us were pretty dickish towards the rest of the people living on the islands.
So do you not feel any pride towards the British Empire? Or do you feel it was just an English one?

Most people in Wales have no problems with the English – it’s the british we fucking hate.
But, why do think so many people in Wales, Scotland and Ireland dislike the (predominantly) English people who feel the need to try to remove our national identity and culture and force a faceless multicultural ‘britishness’ on us with (based around, of course, England’s national anthem, England capital, England’s monarchy, English language, English law, etc etc)? Do you have your head stuck in your arse?

Doubt it as we dont carry around many EU flags, and the EU is not our country.
When i said “British” what i meant was “a team from Britain”, so all english, welsh and scottish sides are British sides too.
Also, our Irish contingent is mostly Northern Irish, which is part of the UK.
What makes you so bitter against the english? Welsh and English have fought side by side for centuries, with the Welsh being the reason for the victory on several famous occasions. We like you, so why all the hating?

Fier des gars qui ont fait le taf malgré une première demi-heure tristounette. Maintenant, je salive de la confrontation avec le Leinster et j’attends mes amis irlandais pour un week-end magique du vendredi au dimanche. Chants, guiness et le match en espérant que ça passera cette année. 2. it wasn’t a ‘british’ side… there’s no such thing as a ‘british’ rugby team – Us, the Scots and the Irish play in our own celtic league… we want nothing to do with you other than the lions, which even most fans fly our respective national flags

1. We are Devonian, English and British. We can wave any of those flags as we are playing a team which isnt any of those.
2. In that game it was a British side against a French side.
3. Our team is mostly english but has much-loved players from Wales and Ireland so they also deserve recognition.
4. Stop being so Nationalistic, it can only cause problems.

Why Exeter fans fly the union flag rather than the English nation flag is beyond me…. it’s only in England people surrender their national identity so easily!
